We cut keys while you wait, ten minutes or under.

Three of us work the bench in Austin — doors, drawers, garden gates and small safes. No fleet contracts, no car keys, no vault work. If a cylinder rekey does the job cheaper than a new lock, we say so before we quote the new one.

Every completed job gets the same mark — on the paperwork, and on the bench log.

Six things. Nothing else.

This is the entire list. Every line is work we do most weeks on real Austin doors, drawers and gates — not a menu padded out to look busy. Car keys, fleet accounts and fire-rated vault safes get handed back today, in writing, not after a deposit.

  1. 01 Key Cutting

Duplicate house keys cut on-site from a standard household blank, ready in ten minutes or under — the search term is key cutting near me, and the answer is the bench, not a kiosk.

  2. 02 Cylinder Rekey

A cylinder rekey service that leaves the door hardware alone, priced per cylinder. Ask us the lock rekey cost before you pay for a full replacement — most of the time rekeying wins.

  3. 03 Lock & Hardware Swap

A deadbolt replacement service or full knob-set swap, priced per door, with the strike plate re-cut and aligned so the bolt actually throws straight.

  4. 04 Lockout Response

Emergency lockout service, priced per call-out. An Austin lockout locksmith call tries non-destructive entry first; drilling only happens with your sign-off, never as the first move.

  5. 05 Small Safe Service

Small safe combination reset and drawer-safe opening, priced per unit. Cash boxes and drawer safes only — no vault doors, no fire-rated units, no exceptions made on-site.

  6. 06 Furniture & Drawer Lock Repair

Cabinet lock repair, furniture drawer lock fix and mailbox lock replacement, priced per lock. Garden gate lock repair rides on the same call if a gate's on the same property.

Rekeying costs less than replacing. We say that even when replacing pays us more — the job configurator below will tell you which one your door actually needs before you pick up the phone.

Plan the job first.

Pick the fixture, say what's wrong with it, and set how many keys you need. This matches your answers to one of the six services above, gives an honest on-site time estimate, and writes the summary straight into the inquiry form.

Set to 0 if this is a repair with no new keys cut.

Switches the response path to non-destructive entry first. Drilling is flagged as a last resort and needs your sign-off on-site, never assumed in advance.

On-site estimate
8–15minutes, bench-to-bench

Bring a working key for comparison and blank matching. Age alone is not a reason to replace working door hardware.

This is a time estimate and a service match, not a quote. Final scope gets confirmed on-site, before any work starts.

How this tool matches a job

The fixture and the fault decide the service: a broken cylinder on a front door points at a rekey or a hardware swap depending on wear, a stuck cabinet lock points at furniture repair, and lost keys on any fixture point at a rekey first because a rekey invalidates the lost key without replacing the whole unit. The key count and lockout toggle only change the time estimate and the response path — not the price, since nothing here is a binding quote.

What actually leaves the bench.

Four jobs from recent weeks, photographed as they happened on the bench itself. Nothing staged for the site, nothing borrowed from a supplier catalogue.

Tell us what the lock is doing.

Address, phone, and a line about the fixture is usually enough for us to know which of the six services fits. If you already ran the configurator above, its summary is copied into the notes field below.

How the bench answers
No call centre, no hold music. The person who answers the phone is the person who owns the bench that week.

We reply from office@ziruqen.com, usually the same day. This is an inquiry, not a booking or a binding quote.
